All large finished images and matted prints are limited edition, ranging from 5-55 depending on image. Partnering with local suppliers, our quintessential pieces are on FujiFlex Film and finished with a 1/4" acrylic glass, vinyl backing, and a wood museum mount. They average around 40" but can range up to 80".
What is FujiFlex?
It is a polyester-based, silver-halide Fuji Crystal Archive material. Designed exclusively for digital output on large-format laser printers, FujiFlex yields purer whites, higher vibrant color saturation, an extremely high-gloss finish which leads to the highest level of image stability ideal for display purposes. Essentially, it provides a higher quality image that your normal glossy print could only hope to achieve. Colors transform throughout the day as the lighting changes in your home or establishment. Therefore, you must see them in person (away from the screen image). But for now, enjoy!
FujiFlex Archive Crystal Film
Finished with Acrylic Glass, Vinyl Backing & Wood Museum Mount
Once the image is done on FujiFlex Film, it is adhered to an acrylic plexiglass. Acrylic is lighter and more flexible than traditional glass. Next, an opaque vinyl backing is set behind the image. This eliminates "ghosting" from behind as well as helps to protect the image. Finally, a wood museum mount is added. (all shown in above two pictures)
This sturdy, wood mount utilizes a 45 degree cut mount and hanger to have the final image "float" about an inch off the wall. It gives a clean, finished look in you home or office without having to add a custom frame.
Matted Archival Photo Prints
Each image is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Photo Paper. Fuji offers vivid color reproductions, brilliant whites and a professional finish. Having used their Premium Lustre photo paper, we now offer an even higher grade: Fuji Pearl!
Fuji Pearl Professional Photo Paper contains a very special component: pearly mica crystals. Based on the natural mica, they are covered with a thin layer of metal oxides; for example, titanium dioxide. Through an interplay of transparency, refraction, coating and multiple relections, it lends pictures such an intense warmth and depth; they become a true sensation.
Each print is then finished with 100% acid-free/pH balanced products: a 1/8" FoamCore backing, linen tape, perfectly cut mat and even the writing ink is acid free.
All Prints are 11x14, 16x20 and 18x24 to help fit standard sized frames, but are also ready for custom framing.
